ALL IN ONE BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 green pepper, chopped
3 med. onions, thinly sliced
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, diced
1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. catsup

Put rice in 3 quart casserole and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt. Put beef on rice. Drain beans and, if necessary, add water to bean liquid to make one cup. Add beans, liquid and tomatoes, green pepper and onions. Add most of cheese, reserving a little to garnish the tops. Mix remaining salt, other seasonings and catsup and pour over the top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Place a lid on casserole and bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours. This can be reheated. Makes about 8 servings.
