ORANGE SLICE CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts
15 orange slice candy (cut in sm. pieces)
1 c. Angel Flake coconut
1 box chopped dates

Cream sugar and butter; add 1 egg at a time. Roll nuts, candy and dates in 1/2 cup flour. Add rest of sifted flour with soda, alternately with milk. Add coconut, add floured nuts, dates and candy last. Bake at 350 degrees.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. fresh orange juice
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Pour over cake while hot. Let cake cool in pan.
