FRUIT CRUMB 
1/4 lb. plus 3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 can pie filling (cherry is our favorite)

Crumb mixture:

1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix 1/4 pounds plus 3 tablespoons butter and 3 tablespoons sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Stir in 1 1/2 cup flour and baking powder. Spread in jelly roll pan (9x12) this is a little tricky. Use a flexible icing spreader or flexible spatula. Cover with pie filling. Melt 1/4 cup butter. Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour and cinnamon. Stir until coarse crumbs are formed. Sprinkle crumbs over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
