CRUMBED APPLES 
APPLE MIXTURE:

4 c. diced tart apples
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar, less if you want
1 tsp. cinnamon
Dash salt
2 tbsp. water

TOPPING:

1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix apple mixture and spread in a pie tin or square cake pan. Cream and spread topping over apples. Bake at 325 degrees until apples are tender and crust browned. Check at 30 minutes.

I usually double everything and use 9 x 13 cake pan. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
