MONKEY BREAD 
1 c. ALL-BRAN
1/2 c. sugar
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 tsp. salt
1 stick melted butter
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs beaten
6 1/2 c. flour

Put ALL-BRAN, shortening and sugar (minus 3 teaspoons) into a bowl. Pour water over mixture and stir to mix. Let stand until lukewarm.

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water and 3 teaspoons sugar. Add beaten eggs and salt to ALL-BRAN mixture; then add to yeast mixture. Blend well. Gradually add 3 cups flour with mixer. Add remaining flour by hand. Knead 1/2 dough lightly. Roll out 1/4 inch thick. Cut in 2 inch diamond shapes, dip in melted butter and stack in strips into bundt pan 1/2 full. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 300 for 10 minutes and then at 400 for 15 minutes.
