SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 lbs. Italian sausage (turkey works great) or hamburger
4 (15 oz.) cans tomatoes (crushed)
1 (15 oz.) can water
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste (optional Italian style)
1 med. onion (chopped)
3 lg. cloves garlic
3 tsp. Italian seasonings
3 to 4 tbsp. sugar, or to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Slightly brown sausage or hamburger; drain slightly. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, onions, garlic, seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil for 15 minutes. Turn down fire to simmer. Best when simmered 3 hours. Add more tomato paste if not as thick as you desire. Great on spaghetti or lasagne.
