EASY FRUIT COBBLER 
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. fruit (fresh apples or peaches, sliced)
Dash of cinnamon (if using apples)

Sift flour together with sugar. Cut up butter in flour until it has consistency of coarse meal. Mix in milk and vanilla. Pour into small glass baking dish. Spoon fruit evenly on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown.
