SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6-8 medium potatoes
1 medium onion, diced
parmesan cheese

Slice potatoes into thin slices. Layer them in oven proof container. Layer potatoes, then onions, then sprinkle with cheese and salt. Continue with the remaining potatoes and onions. Cover with white sauce (recipe to follow).

Bake at 350°F approximately 1-1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.

White Sauce:

3 c milk
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 stick butter
1 tsp salt

Combine milk, cornstarch, butter and salt in pan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Pour over potatoes.
