BASIC YEAST DOUGH
Heat 1 cup milk to scalding. Pour hot milk over 1/2 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons salt, and 4 tablespoons butter. Stir to mix well.

In another bowl, soften 2 packages yeast with 2 teaspoons sugar in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Cover and set aside to rise. When milk mixture has cooled to warm, add 2 cups flour, yeast mixture. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Stir in 3 1/2 to 4 cups flour; knead well, using as little flour as possible.

Shape into ball; place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise in warm place until double.

Separate dough into 3 parts. Roll each one into rectangle 1/4 inch thick. Spread with melted butter, sprinkle with lots of cinnamon and brown sugar. Roll the dough like jelly roll and form a ring on greased pizza pan. Cut into dough with scissors every 3/4 inch. Cover and let rise until double. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-35 minutes. Drizzle with a powdered sugar glaze.
