SEVEN LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can whole kernel corn - drained
Salt & pepper to taste
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
3/4 sauce can of water
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
3/4 lb. ground beef
4 strips bacon, cut in half

Place rice and corn in layers in a 2 quart baking dish. Season to taste. Pour 1 can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water over the layers. Add layers of the onion and green pepper. Cover with a layer of ground beef (seasoned). Pour remaining can of tomato sauce and 1/4 can water over casserole. Top with bacon strips. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes more.
