2 layer Betty Crock German chocolate cake mix 1 can sweetened condensed milk 3/4 c. butter 16 oz. light caramels 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts Mix melted butter and 1/3 cup milk with cake mix. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk. Pat down 2/3 of cake mixture in bottom of greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle chips and nuts over top. Pour caramel on top next and dot with rest of cake mixture. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. |
