TURKEY CASSEROLE | |
1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. white pepper 1/2 c. drained mushrooms 1 1/2 c. cooked, cubed turkey 2 c. bread crumbs 2 tbsp. butter 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. milk 1 c. turkey broth 1 (8 oz.) pkg. fettucini noodles Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour, nutmeg, pepper, and salt. Gradually add milk and turkey broth. Stir; cook until thick. Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain. Add noodles and mushrooms to sauce mixture. Put in buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Toss bread cubes in melted butter. Put on top of casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serves 4 to 6. |
