SAND DABS COOKIES 
4 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
2 c. reg. flour
3/4 c. butter
2 tsp. cold water
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Cream butter thoroughly; add sugar, flour, water, vanilla, and nuts in order given. Roll out in the size of large peanuts. Bake 40 minutes in slow oven (275 to 300 degrees). Cool, then roll generously in powdered sugar.
