2 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. citron peel
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
Flour, enough to make a stiff dough
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. currants
2 c. chopped raisins

Mix all together. Drop on cookie sheet by spoonfuls and bake at 350 degrees until just golden brown.

These make a good Christmas cookie; used in our family for many years.
