GOOEY ALMOND CAKE 
3/4 c. melted butter (1 1/2 sticks)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
Pinch salt
2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 8 inch baking pan. Combine melted butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Beat in eggs. Add salt, flavorings. Stir in flour, beat well.

Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle 2 tsp. sugar and almonds over top of batter. Bake 35-40 minutes until cake is golden brown.
