PEACH COBBLER 
FILLING:

2 (1 lb. 14 oz.) cans peaches
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter

BATTER:

1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten

FILLING: Measure 1/4 cup of peach juice and drain the rest. In medium bowl, combine sugar, flour, vanilla, salt, peaches, cinnamon and the 1/4 cup peach juice. Mix well. Pour into 8x8x2 inch baking dish. Dot with butter.

BATTER: In medium bowl, combine self-rising flour, sugar, salt, butter and egg. Mix until smooth. Drop in 9 portions over filling, spacing evenly. Batter will spread during baking. Bake 35-40 minutes at 375 degrees.
