HELEN'S ORANGE BREAD 
3 orange rinds
2 c. water
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 c. milk
2 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder

Cook chopped rinds until tender in 2 cups of water, approximately 20 minutes. Add 2 cups of sugar and cook until it dissolves. Let cool. Add shortening, salt, flour, milk, beat eggs and fold in. Add baking powder. Grease and flour pans. Bake at 350 degrees until bread is golden brown and breaks open at the top.
