DRIED BEEF CASSEROLE 
1/4 c. butter
1 container dried beef
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper
1/2 c. chopped onions
4 c. cubed potatoes
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk

Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet. Add dried beef torn into small pieces. Fry until beef is "fizzled". Remove beef from pan. Then add to pan onions, potatoes, salt, butter and pepper. Cook about 4 minutes then add 1 cup boiling water and evaporated milk. Cook 30 minutes over low heat until potatoes are tender. Add dried beef and cook 5-10 minutes.
