AUNT HILDA'S DRIED BEEF
CASSEROLE
 
6 med. potatoes
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. bread crumbs
1/4 lb. dried beef
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. grated cheese, your choice
1 tbsp. bacon drippings

Cook potatoes with skins. Shred dried beef. Brown in tablespoon of bacon drippings. Blend in flour and milk gradually. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add grated cheese. Peel and dice potatoes and add to above mixture. Pour into greased casserole. Toss bread into drippings. Put on top of casserole. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.
