BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
1 qt. blackberries
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Preheat oven to 425°F. In a 9 x 12 baking pan, melt butter. In a pan, add blackberries and sugar. Cover with water. Cook down on medium heat until good and hot. Set aside.

Crust:

1 c. self-rising flour
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Mix first three ingredients and gradually add milk, stirring to blend. Put crust on top of butter in pan. Quickly pour blackberry mixture on top of crust.

Bake in 425°F oven until crust is done.
