AUNT ELLA'S PICCALILLI 
18 green tomatoes
2 green peppers, sweet
2 red peppers, sweet
2 lg. onions
2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. each of cloves, nutmeg & allspice

Put tomatoes, peppers and onions through medium food chopper, or can use food processor. Drain off part of the juice. Add rest of ingredients and cook. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer 20 to 30 minutes until cooked.

Ladle into hot canning jars leaving 1/2-inch headspace. Adjust caps according to manufacturer's instructions.

Process in a boiling water bath canner; 1/2 pints 10 minutes, pints 15 minutes.
