SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1/2 c. stale bread crumbs
1 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. melted butter
2 tbsp. oyster liquid
2 tbsp. milk or cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pt. shelled oysters

Mix bread and cracker crumbs, stir in butter. Then put 1 thin layer in bottom of shallow, buttered 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Alternate with oysters, seasonings and liquids. Cover with remaining crumbs. Bake in hot oven set to about 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
