LIGHT FRUIT CAKE 
3/4 lb. butter
6 eggs
1 box XXXX sugar
3 c. plain flour (add baking powder, salt to flour)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 can flaked coconut
1 lb. box golden raisins
1 lb cherries, crystalized
1/2 lb. or 1 lb. of pineapple, crystalized
1 qt. nuts, pecans
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Bake at 250 degrees for 3 hours. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla. Roll fruit and coconut in half of flour. Add balance of fruit to cream mixture and mix by hand. Line cake pan, with brown paper or wax paper and grease well.
