SAVORY SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. bulk pork sausage 1 c. uncooked rice 2 pkgs. (2 oz. each) dehydrated chicken noodle soup 1/4 c. finely chopped onion 1 c. diced celery 2 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. soy sauce Scramble and brown sausage. Pour off grease, drain sausage on paper towel. Mix sausage, rice, soup, onions and celery in a 2 quart casserole. (Refrigerate if you like.) When ready to bake, mix soy sauce and water. Mix gently and cover. (If desired, you may sprinkle sliced almonds on top.) Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. |
