CRUNCHY SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain & wild rice mix 1 lb. bulk pork sausage 1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained 3 tbsp. soy sauce Cook rice according to package; set aside. Cook sausage, beef and onions until meat is brown. Drain drippings. Add rice and other ingredients. Stir well. Spoon into ungreased 2 quart casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator for 30 minutes then bake, uncovered at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. |
