SWEDISH RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. white raisins
1/2 c. raw rice
3 c. milk
1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
Nutmeg

Soak raisins in warm water then drain and set aside. Cook rice as directed on package including the salt. Heat milk until scalded. Add sugar to milk and stir until dissolved. Beat eggs well and add to milk mixture.

Put cooked rice in bottom of 8 x 8 inch pan. Then add milk mixture. Distribute raisins evenly throughout pan. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place pan in larger pan that has hot water in it. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until set.
