RUSSIAN PIEROSKI 
1 hot roll mix
1 to 2 lg. onions, chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 env. powdered beef gravy mix
1 lb. sliced mushrooms
Salt
Pepper
Soy sauce
Sour cream

Prepare hot roll mix according to directions; let rise twice. Meanwhile, saute mushrooms and onion sin small amount of olive oil. Add ground beef, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until meat is done. Add gravy mix.

This is a family favorite but we make them the old Russian style. Onions, ground beef, hardboiled eggs and salt and pepper. Saute the onions add the ground beef and cook until all red is gone. Add hard boiled eggs and mix then let cool. Make about a 3 inch round from the hot roll mix or yeast dough. Put a heaping spoon full of mixture in the center of dough. Fold edges up and crimp together well. Heat oil for deep frying. When hot cook the pieroski until well browned. We like to dip ours in ketchup before each bite. This is my Grandma's recipe and she was from Siberia
