CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. seasoned bread crumbs 1 melted stick butter 1 c. water Mix together. Put half in buttered casserole dish. 2 1/2 c. diced chicken 1/2 c. chopped green onions 1/2 c. mayonnaise 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. chopped green onion tops 1/2 c. chopped celery Mix together and pour over bread mixture in casserole. Then put other half of bread mixture over this. Mix 2 eggs and 1 1/2 cups milk. Beat slightly and pour over casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Take out 1 hour before baking and spread 1 can of mushroom soup over it. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese and return to the oven for 10 minutes. |
