BAKED HALIBUT ALASKAN STYLE 
Halibut fillets
Chopped green onions
Mayonnaise
Lemon juice

Cover cookie sheet with chopped onions. Place fish on onions. Sprinkle lemon juice over fish lightly. Then frost top and sides liberally with mayonnaise. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until fish flakes easily. Caution - do not overbake.

At first thought, mayo sounded too rich and oily... I followed the directions as written, instead of chopped green onions I used sliced red onions. Then seasoned with more lemon juice, salt and pepper. I served a side of steamed plain broccoli seasoned with lemon juice as well, salt and pepper to taste. To my surprise the fish was very good! And the plain broccoli complimented the mayo nicely.
