CAJUN SUCCOTASH 
1 med. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 c. fresh sliced okra
2 c. fresh cut corn
3 c. peeled and chopped tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. chili powder

Saute onion in bacon drippings until tender. Add okra, cook 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well. Cover and simmer for approximately 15 minutes until corn is cooked.
