CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE | |
1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/4 c. (heaping) cocoa 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sour cream 2 1/2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in cocoa, vanilla and mixture of soda and sour cream. Sift in flour and salt. Add 1 cup boiling water, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan 15 minutes, remove from pan to cool completely. |
