HOT DOG BAR - B - Q 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. fat
1 (14 oz.) bottle (1 1/4 c.) extra hot ketchup
2 tbsp. pickle relish
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (8 to 10) pkg. frankfurters
8 to 10 buns, split and toasted

Cook onion in fat until tender - not brown. Stir in ketchup, pickle relish, sugar, vinegar, and seasonings. Sear franks; add to sauce. Simmer until hot, at least 10 minutes. Serve on heated buns.
