PEANUT BUTTER PIE (Version #1) 
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3 eggs
3 c. milk
2 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Baked pie shell

In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and peanut butter with fork until coarse crumbs form; set aside. In saucepan stir together 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt. Add milk and egg yolks. Cook until thick. Stir in butter and vanilla.

Sprinkle 1/3 crumbs on pie shell. Add 1/2 of pudding mixture, then 1/3 crumbs, then the rest of pudding. Cover with meringue. Sprinkle on rest of crumbs. Bake until golden.
