MILLION DOLLAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour, unsifted
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips

Cream butter, butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, salt and soda. Stir in chips. Form dough into walnut sized balls. Place them on a greased cookie sheet. Grease bottom of a small glass, dip it in granulated sugar, then press the cookies to flatten. You don't need to re-butter the glass each time, just dip into sugar before flattening each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. These are very crisp and buttery.
