MEHGAN'S FAVORITE PORK CHOPS IN
WHITE SAUCE
 
10 pork chops or steaks
4-6 c. rice, cooked
4 c. white sauce (see scalloped potato and ham)
10 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. bacon grease

Fry pork chops under medium-low heat in bacon grease and Worcestershire sauce. Cover with lid while frying to keep chops moist. Fry only until lightly browned.

Separately cook rice. Separately make white sauce in large Dutch oven. Add pork chops and their juices into white sauce; stir well. Simmer gently for at least 20 minutes. Serve chops with rice smothered in white sauce/gravy. Serves 5 people.
