PECAN CRISPIES | |
1/2 c. butter 6 tbsp. brown sugar 6 tbsp. granulated sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped pecans Cream butter and sugars until light. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes. Cool cookies slightly before removing from pan. Makes 2 1/2 dozen. (granddaughter of Denis and Irene Acker) |
