PECAN CRISPIES 
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter (butter)
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
