ORIENTAL SALAD 
1 Chinese (Napa) cabbage, chopped
2 green onions (optional)

I also use grated carrots and purple cabbage for color. To extend salad amount shred regular cabbage.

CRUNCHIES (Watch closely, drain on paper towels) :
2 pkgs. ramen noodles, break up VERY finely
1/2 c. seasoned seeds
1/2 c. sliced almonds

Brown ingredients in 1 stick butter. A few cashews are also good.

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce

Make ahead and chill.
