FRUIT CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. molasses
1 c. sour milk
5 c. flour
4 eggs
1 glass grape jelly
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. currants
1/2 lb. dates
1/2 lb. figs
1/4 lb. citron
1 oz. lemon peel
1 oz. orange peel
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. mace
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and sour milk. Mix flour and spices. Add to creamed mixture. Next add all fruits. Stir well. Bake in bread tins.

The longer this recipe keeps the more delicious it is.
