BAKED WINTER SQUASH 
1 lg. winter squash
3 tbsp. butter
Brown sugar

Place winter squash, cut into fourth and seeded, into large baking dish. Fill with 1 inch of water. Cover with foil and bake in 375 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Drain off most of the water leaving a little in the bottom of pan. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar to cover squash entirely. Dot with the butter and continue to bake until the butter and sugar have melted. Approximately 15 minutes more.
