1 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour (heaping)

Mix together well and chill. Form dough into small balls and press down with glass dipped in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
