1/3 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
2 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream the first six ingredients thoroughly. Then add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. When cool, frost with chocolate frosting.
