1 1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. corn starch
1 1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt

Cook above ingredients until thick. While hot add a small box of strawberry Jello plus 1 teaspoon red food coloring.

Let set and cool. Add 1 quart of strawberries. Pour into baked pie shells and refrigerate. Makes 2 pies.
