GLAZED PEACH PIE | |
4 c. peaches, sliced 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1 pie shell, baked Crush enough peaches to make 1 cup, leaving rest sliced. Combine crushed peaches with sugar, water and cornstarch. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat until clear, about 2 or 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add butter and cool slightly. Line pie shell with small amount of mixture, then peach slices, then rest of mixture. |
