CROCK POT STEW 
2 lbs. beef chuck, cut into 1 to 2 inch cubes
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 lg. onion
3 carrots, split lengthwise & cut in 4 inch strips
4 celery stalks, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 tsp. leaf basil
1/3 c. quick cooking tapioca
1 c. mushrooms, undrained
2 cans condensed tomato soup
1 c. beef broth or water

Wipe cubes well. Combine with bread crumbs and toss. Put in crock pot and add remaining ingredients, stir well. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours. 6 servings.
