MERRY CHEESE CAKES 
1 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds or pecans)

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In cuisinart bowl combine flour, butter and brown sugar until particles are fine. Stir in nuts. Reserve 1 cup of mixture for topping. Pat remainder in ungreased 8 inch square pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare filling in cuisinart. Blending all ingredients until smooth. Spread over partially baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Continue baking for 23 to 30 minutes, until golden brown. Cool, cut into bars. Store in refrigerator. Yield: 24 bars.
