MAX'S CRANBERRY BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. orange juice
1/4 c. water
2 c. cranberries
2 tsp. melted butter
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Combine dry ingredients. Make a well in center and pour in egg, orange juice, water and butter all at once. Stir enough to moisten. Add pecans and cranberries. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
