NUT TORTE 
8 egg yolks
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. flour
1 c. ground nuts
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. water
8 egg whites, beaten

Beat egg yolks and sugar until thick, about 2 minutes. Add water, flour, baking powder, vanilla and nuts; mix well. Fold in beaten egg whites. Place in two 9 inch pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. When cake is done put toothpicks around cake immediately, turning cake upside down.
