PATIO BROILED CHICKEN 
1 c. salad oil
1/3 c. lemon juice
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (2 lb.) chickens, split; or about 4 lb. chicken pieces

Refrigerate chicken in sauce 4 to 5 hours. Place on grill bone side down over hot coals. Brush occasionally with sauce. Broil about 30 minutes on each side until done.
