HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
2 lb. ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
6 large potatoes
1 large onion

Brown and drain ground beef. Peel and slice potatoes 1/4-inch thick. Peel onion 1/4-inch thick. In a casserole dish, layer ground beef, potato and onion in layers that cover the bottom of dish. Continue with layers until all ingredients are used. Mix can of soup with water. Pour over casserole. Sprinkle entire dish lightly with salt and pepper. Cover casserole and bake at 350°F for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours until potatoes stick tender.
